What does ALPS Federal Credit Union do with your personal information?
WHY?

How does ALPS Federal Credit Union protect my personal information?
To protect your personal information from unauthorized access
and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We also restrict access to non-public personal information about you to those employees and volunteers who need to know the information to provide products or services to you.
How does ALPS Federal Credit Union collect my personal information?
We collect your personal information, for example, when you:
open an account or apply for a loan
apply for a credit union service
you visit our website, provide us with information on any online application or transaction, or information you send to us by email
use your credit card or debit card to pay your bills
make deposits to or withdrawals from your accounts
We also collect your personal information from others, including credit bureaus or other companies.
Why can't I limit all sharing?
Federal law only gives you the right to limit information sharing as follows:
sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes - information about your creditworthiness
affiliates' from using your information to market you
sharing for non-affiliates to market you
However, we do not have any affiliates with whom we share any information. State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

Affiliates
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
ALPS Federal Credit Union has no affiliates.
Non-Affiliates
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
ALPS Federal Credit Union does not share with non-affiliates so they can market to you, except for our joint marketing arrangements.
Joint Marketing
A formal agreement between ALPS Federal Credit Union and a non-affiliated financial company where we jointly market financial products or services to you.
Our joint marketing partners include providers of investment and financial services and insurance companies.
